Zoey is a black & white spotted foxtrotter, born May
4, 2003. Zoey is the first foal we have raised. It has definitely been an experience and an adventure.
Zoey's bloodlines consist of old foundation on the Dam's
side and modern on the Sire's side. Zoey is unable to be registered with the MFTHBA her Sire has not been approved under
saddle. She has been registered with the Pleasure Saddle Horse Registry (www.pshr.com). She has an awesome disposition and loves attention.
We are currently using natural horsemanship techniques in
her training. She is learning Clinton Anderson techniques along with a local trainer, Helge Buflod from Waynesville,
Ohio. She is doing wonderful with the groundwork, she navigates over logs, across tarps, through tires & loads very
nicely in a trailer. We have just started driving her with a surcingle and long lines and she has been ponied as
well. We can't thank Helge enough for showing us the way. We will start her under saddle in another year.
