Winsome is a dappled Palomino foxtrotter with light mane
and tail. She was born May 3, 1986 in Licking, Missouri. Her mother died at birth, so you can only imagine how
spoiled she is today. Her bloodlines go back to Shoshone #1091, Goldie #F-146, Zane Grey #f-2815 and many more old foundation
Fox Trotters.
We are very excited and feel very fortunate to have Winny
on our farm. Winny's previous owner, Karen Baldwin, spent a lot of hours training Winny to become a "been there done
that" horse. She opens her own gates, gives kisses, has worked cattle, turned barrels. She has been to day care
centers, boy scouts, nursing homes, and has given many hours of lesson's to children ranging from the age of 4-8.
We acquired Winny on July 11, 2004 for our neice Samantha. This
is Sam's first horse and what a smile she has brought to her face. Sam and Winny have been riding since day one and
have formed a wonderful relationship together.
We would like to send a heartfelt thanks to Karen & Dave
Baldwin. We know how hard this was. Hopefully, you are enjoying your retirement in Florida.
